“Light the candle, illuminate your heart. Don’t be afraid of the dark . . . . Ring out the old, bring in the new, bless and release what you have to, and love with love with hope . . . . Ring out the old, bring in the new, bless and release what you have to, and love with hope . . . . Light the candle, illuminate your heart.” (From the song “Illuminate” by Sloan Wainwright and Stephen Murphy) |

All thru the House.... The “house” is the consciousness where the Christ child is sheltered.
Let Light shine all through the house.
The house of “David, Beloved of the Lord,” and “Jacob, the supplanter” is the consciousness that God loves me and through Him I overcome.
Let Light shine all through the house. My house is my consciousness of Truth.
Let Light shine all through the house to light up my life.
Peace to this House Built on Love!
Let Light shine all through this house to light the world!

Night Watch Inspired by lyrics by Peter Mayer:
Make of my heart a manger, Lord, to receive the newborn Christ Child.
Calm my fears, and give me peace, Lord, and steadfast, stable faith, that I may witness the birth of the Christ Child in everyday experience.
Give me a sign, Lord, as I keep the night watch, that the Christ Child is born in the midst of the simple life of prayer.
“In Bethlehem a manger waits, long ago and so today,” we pray that “Love will come and lay there.”
“So may the lamps of stables glow, brightly that their light may go, for miles in the darkness, so, Love will find its way there,” to be cradled in the human heart.

Search the Sky “Search the sky for that star, star of light, star of love – bright enough to guide believers from afar, seeking their rumored newborn King.
And when we wish upon it, we wish for our only gift, peace around our troubled world, peace within ourselves.
Search the face of the child, shining with the spirit of Christmases in your heart, and all that joy shall easily be restored.
We’ve traveled such a long way – we’ve forgotten what for. Then we gaze upon the face of that child and hope for the only gift: peace around our troubled world, peace within ourselves.”
Search the sky – and your heart – for that star of light, star of love.
