Leddy Hammock Highlights from “I Am the Place where God Shows Up” by Eddie Watkins, Jr.: “There is no spot where God is not. I am not alone and there is nothing I have to do on my own. I am the place where God lives and breathes and has its being. I am the place, you are the place, we are the place where God shows up.”

Leddy Hammock From the words of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: “As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back. With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together…. With this faith, we will be able . . . to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day…. Let freedom ring!” |

Leddy Hammock Lyrics to “Get Ready, My Soul” by Daniel Nahmod: “Everything I’ve ever done, everything I’ve ever seen, everything I’ve lost or won, everything I’ve ever dreamed, has brought me here to the present moment, here, to a new beginning, here and I’m seeing life so clearly now.” “‘Cause here I go, deeper, deeper, deeper than I’ve ever been before. Here I go, closer, closer, closer to my sacred Source. Here I go, deeper, deeper, deeper than I’ve ever been before. Here I go, close, closer, closer to my sacred Source.” “Get ready, my soul. Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “Emmanuel” by Claudia Carawan Once, a tiny baby slept beneath the stars of a long, dark night. Welcome to my heart, sweet and holy Child. |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “Be the Light” by Karen Drucker and Claudia Carawan Like a candle flame in a window pane, or embers burning by the fireside, as we celebrate, we illuminate, the light we shine is multiplied. Oh, the places you will go and the people you will know! Don’t worry when or where or how. You don’t need to know that now. You’re on the right track, no need to look ahead or back. Rev. Dell deChantInspired by lyrics to “Letting Go of Holding On” by Richard Mekdeci/Mario Friedel: “I’m letting go of holding on. God is my Shepherd. I shall not want. I’m letting go of holding on, seeking first the kingdom of God. I let go of the feelings that feed on lack and greed. I let go of the reasons keeping me in need. I let go of the fear that there’s never enough and I stop holding on, to what is not love. We breathe in, we breathe out, it’s all give and take. They’re one with each other, for all of goodness’ sake. The loaves and the fishes were blessed then released and barely enough turned into a feast.”

Inspired by lyrics to “The Grand Design” by Greg Tamblyn: “After all these years, I’m startin’ to see we’re all threads in a tapestry, Out on life’s highway, we feel alone, as every bend leads us further from home. Our path divides, we take our chances, and pray our loved ones will understand us. We could rise up high, see the long road, how far we’ve come and where we’ll go, See how our pathway crosses the others, we know how much we need each other. It’s something I believe and now I find it comforts me. I’ve come to love the mystery. The Grand Design is with us all along, a last goodbye, a newborn’s song, And in the end, we all belong, to the Grand Design.” |

Leddy Hammock Lyrics from “No Complaints Whatsoever” by Jan Garrett & JD Martin: I got no complaints whatsoever and a new day is dawning in my soul. I gave up the struggle at last, and I can see all the ways that I’ve been gifted and all the wisdom that has brought me to this place. Through the twists and the turns, I have finally come to learn to trust this amazing kind of grace. The high road is surprisingly easy. Forgiveness shows up without a fight. I’ve got no regrets. I’m seriously blessed. I got peace of mind. All the time. I’ve got no complaints whatsoever and a new day is dawning in my soul.

Judy Tafelski Inspired by lyrics to “The Way of God” by Richard Mekdeci: “Hush my child,” I heard the voice say from the dark night of my soul. “Things are not as bad as they seem, you are stronger than you know. You call on me to help you but it’s already done. Ev’rything I am, you are; the battle has been won. You are not weak. You are not helpless. You are not fear. You are not judgment. You are whole. You are worthy. You are the way of God, the way of God. Deep in my own heart I found strength and the courage to go on, When I faced my fears I could see they were all just illusion. I want to make the difference, I want to be the way. Now when I want to turn and run, I hear myself say: Stretch your heart until it reaches the way of God. Ev’ry Master Teacher teaches the way of God. ‘Cause the only way to peace is the way of God. So when the path before you seems too much to take, just remember who you are, take a breath and say, I am not weak. I am not helpless. I am not fear. I am not judgment. I am whole. I am worthy. I am the way of God.” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Leddy Hammock to a song by Sue Riley, “Leave those Walls Behind” from the double CD set with “Twelve Women of the Chalice” (2008): Sounds of the city, the life I knew, fade in the background and drift away. As I turn to face the window, to the open blue, new life is calling to me. It says, “Come with me, Beloved, leave those walls behind, for a land of milk and honey— a promised land, leave those walls behind.” Oh, I’ve taken care of others, of ev’ryone but me. Closed in these walls, no room to breathe, I can only save them by choosing to be free. New life is calling to me. It says, “Come with me, Beloved, leave those walls behind, for a land of milk and honey– a promised land. Leave those walls behind. “No more looking out with longing, hiding here within. Now I fin’ly have the courage to step outside. I’ve shaken off my sorrow, no more waiting to begin. New life is calling to me. It says, “Come with me, Beloved, leave those walls behind, |

What Jesus taught has everything to do with love. When we are kind, we know we are not alone. What Jesus taught has everything to do with love. I choose love, no matter what others do. When we put our differences behind us, the world looks new. What Jesus taught has everything to do with love. Love is our trademark. There’s so much hope to hold onto, because what Jesus taught has everything to do with love. |

Leddy Hammock You might win a battle, you could win a race. Out run your rivals, come in first place. You could lose your center in the push and the shove, or simply surrender and tune into love. Love’s not a contest, it’s just who we are. Both the light and the shadow are at home in the heart. Beyond the struggle, there is music to play, and songs to be singing at the end of the day…. Love knows no boundaries, it’s the light in our eyes – familiar to all, universally prized. There’s a world of compassion and we’re good to begin. We could just quit fighting and let love win. When we’re up against too much to ask, when we lose our resistance at last and we realize love’s got our back, love wins. For everyone, great and small, we are lifted as we fall, kindness conquers all. Love wins. |

Leddy Hammock The LORD, our God, is One and God is Love. With love in my heart, I give love away. It all comes back and makes a better day. My only “enemies” are anger and fear thoughts. Here’s what I believe. I know there’s good in everyone. I know the best is yet to come. Look out world, ‘cause I’m not done, I’ve only just begun . . . . I’ll choose compassion over fear, release my love into the atmosphere. Like a single wave in an endless sea, any change begins with me. And, when I feel I’m all alone, I’ll remember, one drop of water smooths a stone. Gonna, love like crazy, shine like gold, be courageous, break the mold. Can’t do it all, but this much is true. Leddy Hammock “Jonah’s Story,” or “How to Turn Your Life Around” When my best thinking has gotten me into my worst situations, the only way I can change my life is by changing my thinking. To turn a negative experience around, I forgive, I listen with my heart, and I turn my thoughts in a positive direction. I wake up from self-limiting thought. I bless and give thanks, as I take a new direction toward the ceaseless flow of my own good. I stop resisting my inner guidance and I take a “right turn,” even if it means kicking and screaming down the path of transformation. |

Big Medicine in the Bible (inspired by lyrics by Devotion):
It isn’t the touch; it’s the Truth that heals. Faith, sweet forgiveness, is the best medicine. We could carry that pain for a thousand miles, or we could just lay it down.
It isn’t the hem of the garment that healed. Faith, sweet forgiveness, is the best medicine. We could carry that shame for a thousand days, or we could just lay it down.
It isn’t the food that healed. Faith, sweet forgiveness, is the best medicine. We could go through that grief in a thousand ways, or we could just lay it down.
It isn’t the clay that healed. Faith, sweet forgiveness, is the best medicine. We can carry that blame till the end of time, or we can just lay it down.

Big Peace in the Bible (Inspired by lyrics by Sue Riley)
September 21, International Day of Peace
As we share the dream of peace, we envision a world that is more loving.
All over the world today, we go within in prayer in this precious present, and our presence holds the key to peace profound.
Together, we can co-create a vision of peace on earth that will last.
All over the world today, let us reach out in love and wisdom as we share the dream of peace.

Big Dreams in the Bible “In the Temple of prayer, I have seen many days, fasting from fear, and living on praise.
I am imagining what the fullness of time will bring. I am imagining the answer to prayer.
In the Temple of prayer, I tell of the prophecy– The Vision clear revealed to me.
I am imagining what the fullness of time will bring. I am imagining the answer to prayer.
I close my eyes and behold His Image— The eyes of the Infinite beholding me — All through the ages, so tenderly gazing with love and compassion enfolding me.
Thoughts held in mind mirror around me, reflecting in kind the wonders I see.
I am imagining what the fullness of time will bring.
I am imagining the answer to prayer.”

Big Work in the Bible Spiritual principle works when I work it.
God works through me to will and to do whatever God directs me to do.

Big Ideas in the Bible There is only one Presence and one Power, everywhere and always: God, Divine Mind, the Good omnipotent.
Humanity is God’s divine idea: we image like God images and we co-create our world by the way we name it.
Thoughts held in mind reproduce after their kind, for life is consciousness and wherever I am, God is.
Here is the Big Idea: LOVE! – I am the thinker that thinks the thought that makes the things that shape my life. When my thoughts are loving, life is good!

Let us be instruments of Your peace. Remind us that everything is all right in the end; if it is not all right, it is not yet the end.

“We have to learn how to let go of long-harbored resentment and finally just forgive . . . . freely, joyfully, and completely.”
“With forgiveness, we can let go of the past and turn to other, more important issues in our lives – such as how to be truly happy, to have the things we want, and to thrive with a sense that we are joyfully fulfilling our life purpose.”
“On our spiritual journey toward prosperity, we are aspiring to a forgiveness that’s so deep, full, and complete that no traces of any bad feeling at all will remain within us.”
I will not drown in shallow water,
for as I forgive,
I sail forward over calm seas
and under grace,
drawing others to safety with me,
and no one is left behind.

What Your Father Wants for You (Based on affirmations given in Part II of The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity by Edwene Gaines.)“
My goals and desires are between me and God alone.
The more I notice the gifts God gives me, the more God gives.
I am willing to prove to the universe – and to myself – that I am the being of integrity that God made me to be – one that does not complain.
God wants the best for me, always, and with God, anything is possible.

More Than Enough (Based on affirmations given in Part I of The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity by Edwene Gaines.)
“I walk through the world transforming it as I go.”
“I serve God. Money serves me.”
“Rich, divine ideas flow through me to bless and prosper all humankind.
I want God’s good for everyone.”
“I love to tithe to where I receive my spiritual food. I give lavishly and joyously.”
“I am thankful for all my seen ad unseen blessings.”
“Because I give of my time, energy, and money, I am in the flow of inexhaustible substance.”

Discovering Your Own Power & Authority Through the authority of the Christ in me, I speak the word and the universe obeys.
Instead of struggling against what scares me, I am ready to move calmly toward what I do want.
I am willing to work faithfully in my own consciousness to accomplish my goals.
Through the Christ in me, I speak the word with authority and power.

Stand Right here and now, I stand on holy ground.
Right here and now, I stand ready for my miracle.
In the presence of the LORD, I stand fearless and strong.
Lord, give me the strength to stand up for the Truth that I know. I stand up for all the heroes.

Sacred Space As I journey in faith, wherever I go, the God of my understanding journeys with me and everything is holy now.
I pray as I go, so I live in sacred time and everything is holy now.
The more I grow in spiritual understanding, the more I discern that everything is holy now.
Wherever I am, God is, and wherever I know this is sacred space. Everything is holy now.

With Child I am adored by the Most High, Who loves and comforts me. Every child is a beloved child of God – a darling daughter, a precious son. “I have never been alone. In Your heart, I am always home.” I am cherished, I am safe. You are here with me, in every breath I take. Remind me how adored I am. |

Hands Up (inspired by lyrics to “Amen” by Sirgun Kaur): Oh, Cosmic Creator of all that is, inspire us to be receptive, to create space in our lives where Your presence can express. “Move in us with creativity so we may be the perfect vessel of Your mission. Enlighten us that we may serve the highest good.” May we always remember our purpose – to make way for the experience of Your presence. Illuminate the wisdom in every moment, from the beginning without end, forever and ever amen! Hallelujah! Amen! |

UR Stuff Inspired by Chapter XII of Charles Fillmore’s Prosperity: If I “cannot part with the goats” I “shall have to do with fewer sheep.” If I insist on “filling the vessels with the bad fish,” I shall “have to do without the good,” for “thoughts are things and occupy space in mind.” I “let go of old thoughts and conditions after they have served their purpose” and “lay hold of new ideas and create new conditions.” I do not let worries over possessions steal my peace of mind. I do a thorough “mental housecleaning” every time I pray. I “cannot lay hold of the new ideas and make the new conditions” until I “have made room for them by eliminating the old.” Short, powerful statements of Truth like “Fear is out of here! God is my Source!” effectively clear away selfish, materialistic thoughts to make room for my good. |

Jump In! I am a Child of God and I am naturally good. I am on the way to an infinite unfoldment. As a spiritual being, I am divinely endowed with faith, understanding, and strength, and as I use these faculties, love comes naturally. I am a spiritual being, currently going through a human experience, and ready to accept the invitation to jump into the flow of good that comes naturally to me. |

Greening I behold fresh possibilities sparkling around me and good outcomes in the greening of the earth. I want for nothing, for I walk in green pastures beside the still waters. God is my instant, constant, Source, nourishing and refreshing me like a hidden spring. I behold the growth of spiritual unfoldment, first in mind and then in manifestation, like the greening of the earth

March Forth I am ready to “leave my nets,” and freely march forth! Those who really love me always free me to follow the ideals that I feel called to follow. I speak Truth with authority, giving “marching orders” to limiting conditions; and my words get results! Habits, obligations, fears, doubts, and material constraints all fall away; when the Christ in me says, “Follow Me,” I march forth! Don’t be shy, just show up as you’re able.

Power Move My real power is not in outer strength but in inner strength. I of myself can do nothing. But the power of God within me is mighty. Not by force, but by faith, Spirit moves through me. The greatest power speaks to me as a tiny whispering sound of the voice of Spirit and moves through me to change the world. |

Resolve to Evolve I take one step at a time, resolved to grow in spiritual understanding. I am resolved to build a more spiritual life and I shall not be moved. I am resolved to stand strong through the changes of life, unshaken by doubt or fear. I don’t have to be perfect yet, but I resolve to evolve. |

Your Prosperity: “The moment I let go and let God, my deepest dreams and desires manifest.” “Everything is already here.” “Everything is possible.” “I Am already everything I want to be, right now.” “It is never too late to be what I was meant to be.” “I take a good look at that shadow that I've been afraid of, and in doing that, give myself free choice to have spring all the time.” |

The World According to Jude There’s no worry anymore. You’ve made it home. Being home is richer than brilliant gold and priceless pearls. You’ve made it home. There’s no pain in all my world. You’ve made it home. Only peace is left in store. You’ve made it home. |

Tell a Stronger Story I’ll meet you in the morning, before the world begins. Let’s recreate our world with a new story: whatever we “name it,” that’s what it is! Seeing the “big picture” of my life story, I find a larger meaning and also peace and rest for my soul. I am richly blessed and I bless others as I learn to tell a stronger story. I meet my true self along the journey of my life, for I am the hero of my life story, always arriving at a higher, better, and more peaceful place. |

Be Serene in 2014 “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference” – Reinhold Niebuhr God, grant me the serenity to live one day at a time, accepting every opportunity as a pathway to peace. Let’s be serene in 2014! |

Sacred Santa Mindful of Santa Claus – a symbol of the sacredness of generosity and lovingkindness – I am aware of the presence of God. As I think of Santa’s sack of goodies, I think of the timeless value of welcoming the stranger, sharing in forgiveness and peace, and opening the heart in joy and delight. The “visit of St. Nicholas” and the “gifts of the Magi” happen for me every time inner wisdom honors the newborn Christ in my soul. Just as children hang their stockings at Christmas, trusting they will be filled with good things, I give thanks in advance for the blessings God has for me this Christmas season. |

Like lights on a string of Christmas lights, we are all connected to the same Power Source. Although we are many shapes and colors, together we make such a beautiful light. Every single bulb on this human string of lights is essential to light up this Tree of Life. Let the circuit be unbroken! Let every Christmas light shine bright! |

Mary Said A Mary Prayer Magnify my understanding so that as I conceive Your divine idea, I receive it. Magnify my realization that nothing is impossible for You. Magnify Your pure love in my heart. And so it is, and so I let it be. |

Food for the Journey In the Bible, we read that Jacob prospered, for he had vowed to share of all that he received, acknowledging God as his Source. Throughout the Torah, the lesson is given that God is our inexhaustible Source of all good. Jesus, the Master Teacher, said that we are not to worry about what we will eat, but seek first God’s kingdom and everything else we require would be provided. He said that the measure we measure with would be measured back to us: “pressed down, shaken together, and running over!” |

Can't Hurry the Harvest I do what’s mine to do and let it be, for with every thought and deed, I am planting seeds. When I do my work and simply trust, whatever is not of Spirit will pass away and that which is of Spirit will come forth in right timing. The fullness of time comes the moment I know that thoughts are things and that as I sow, I reap. Whatever is good will grow, according to my active faith; there’s no need to hurry the harvest. |

Storm Proof The more it rains and the deeper the flood waters, the higher I rise. When the storm rages, I fly away on wings of faith. Let the storms come, for my house is built on the rock of faith. Let it rain, for God is my refuge and shelter, and I am storm-proof. |

They Promised! God promises are big promises, but nothing is too hard for God. I believe that whatever I have the consciousness to conceive, I now receive, without exception. I believe God’s promise of protection and fulfillment for I have a fire-tried faith. Okay, God. I believe Your promises for me as I speak this affirmation in faith. So, I’m waiting for my happiness! |

Creating a Monster We are made in the image and likeness of God, so our thought creations are whatever we name them to be. What we think about, we bring about. Whatever we fear, we name a “monster,” but Love redeems, protects, empowers, and transforms. Praise God, the Creative Life in and through the universe, little “monsters “ – for our every notion puts energy in motion! |

You're On! Life has prepared me well for the challenges I am meeting right now. I break free of heartaches and self-doubt. I rise to the occasion of this moment. I am no longer held back by blame or broken down plans. I hear and answer my calling. My time is now. If not me, who? If not now, when? |

Whats the Problem? Life is a school: every “problem” is a lesson opportunity and the tuition is well-spent. I get it! I remember that God is my Source and I am teachable. Every “problem” is the result of forgetfulness of my spiritual nature. I am ready to go “home.” The Father’s House – Divine Mind – is all Good, all Love, all the time. God doesn’t change: I do. Problem solved! |

Expecting? Negative expectations come to nothing, while positive and loving thoughts are manifesting now. Every good thought, like an angel presence, goes before me to make my way easy, safe, prosperous, and happy. I deny the stumbling blocks of doubt, fear, and worry, and instead I build up a strong and positive consciousness that paves the way to good outcomes. I reflect on the good I expect, and as I conceive it, I receive it – or something even better! |
