Leddy Hammock Lyrics to “Illuminate” by Sloan Wainwright and Stephen Murphy “Light the candle, illuminate your heart. Don’t be afraid of the dark . . . . Ring out the old, bring in the new, bless and release what you have to, and love with love with hope . . . . Ring out the old, bring in the new, bless and release what you have to, and love with hope . . . . Light the candle, illuminate your heart.” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “Everything I Need” by Sloan Wainwright and Karen Drucker: We have everything we need, for this place is filled with joy and grace to create a sacred space. I have everything I need, for I have faith and I know that there's good in everyone. I have peace. I open up my heart and let the love in. The gift that I receive is I have everything I need. And now I know, when I let go, I can live complete and whole. I’ll shine my light that burns so bright through the darkest night. I have everything I need. |

Leddy Hammock Stables, by Peter Mayer In Bethlehem a manger waits, long ago and so today, Love that opens fists of hate, heaps of gold on beggars’ plates, Oh, Love, the prophets’ only word, the only lesson left to learn, So, may the lamps of stables glow brightly lit that light may go |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “Search the Sky,” by Sloan Wainwright: “Search the sky for that star, star of light, star of love – bright enough to guide believers from afar, seeking their rumored newborn King. And when we wish upon it, we wish for our only gift, peace around our troubled world, peace within ourselves. Search the face of the child, shining with the spirit of Christmases in your heart, and all that joy shall easily be restored. We’ve traveled such a long way – we’ve forgotten what for. Then we gaze upon the face of that child and hope for the only gift: peace around our troubled world, peace within ourselves.” Search the sky – and your heart – for that star of light, star of love. |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by “A Quiet Christmas” by Michael Gott: My heart longs for a quiet Christmas, far from the hurry and the noise, for peace on earth meets peace of mind. I can slow my mind. Just breathe, don’t run away, just breathe, and leave the cares behind. I know I don’t have to hide. I can find a quiet place inside. My heart longs for a quiet Christmas, far from the hurry and the noise, where peace on earth meets peace of mind. Suddenly, there’s the joy, there’s the peace. I am ready for a quiet Christmas. |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “Still Yourself” by Richard Mekdeci: “Your path is true. There’s a guiding light that shines inside of you.” “Still yourself. Still yourself. The strength you seek is just a breath away.” “Strength flows from stillness like a fountain, |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by “I Made Room for Grace” by Sue Riley): When I stumble, I won’t be defeated, since I make room for grace. I stop resisting. I make room for grace. I just step aside, open up a space, and make room for grace. Now the blessings arrive every day, since I made room for grace. A Unity Thanksgiving table blessing: |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “If I Were Brave” by Jana Stanfield: I refuse to listen to the voice of fear. So, the voice of courage whispers in my ear: “You cannot fail.” And the wind always fills up my sail. Like the mighty oak sleeps in the heart of the seed, there are miracles in you and me. I am brave enough to move ahead, where true believers dare to tread, and never lose faith even when losing my way. I trust the hero in me. I am brave! |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “What I Hold Onto” by Sue Riley & Melinda Wood Allen “With the hard-earned wisdom I have now, I wouldn’t do again what my old self would allow. Letting go of all the blame and heartache, now I see. I’m getting closer to a new, more peaceful me. I’m holding on to what I want to keep. I feel lighter, I sleep better, its love that’s holding me. Now I can stand back and see: The past is the past, but the future’s up to me. What I hold on to holds on to me. Resentments I carried wouldn’t let me be free. My new religion is live and let be. What I hold on to holds onto me.” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Steve Gillette in “A Little Bit of Solitude” — Thank You, God, for the patience to stand back and be kind. I keep my mind and heart always open to a sense of wonder. I know there’s no such thing as falling under one “spell” or another. We know we're getting closer to a far better place, and we know we're getting there and we know what it takes. My “Godspell” is the Gospel – the simple good news of the Christ way: “It takes a little bit of solitude, a whole lot of gratitude, a truly loving attitude to live in this world today.” Inspired by lyrics by Steve Gillette in “A Little Bit of Solitude” — Thank You, God, for the patience to stand back and be kind. Leddy Hammock There is a lesson to be learned in every experience. Every lesson is worthwhile and we teach as we learn. Whatever we go through, it’s what we grow through that counts. Life is a school. What we used to call “problems” we now call “projects.” The inner Teacher sends a message: peace and harmony. |

Closer than the sunlight, nearer than the air.” – “Nearer than the Air” a song by Michahel Gott “Multitudes in the valley of decision! Fortunes have been lost, opportunities passed up, chances for happiness gone glimmering, and minds left seething with unrest because many individuals have not schooled themselves in the fine art of making up their minds” (Eric Butterworth in “Making Decisions the Easy Way” — p. 159 in Celebrate Yourself! Leddy Hammock From lyrics to “What Needs Changing in the World” by Freebo: “What needs changing in the world, maybe it could be the way I’d like it to be: “What can I do to heal up the world for me and you? The more I look around, the more I see, I can’t do it all but I can change me. I could be the change I’d like to see.” “When it all comes down to all the things I’m feeling, I’ve finally found it’s my mind that needs a healing.” “I only need to walk the walk. All I have to do is take that leap.” “What needs changing in the world? — just one thing and it’s up to me. |

Leddy Hammock
"Ever expanding, endless canvass, the infinite surface of the heart." There is more than enough room in the circle of my heart for forgiveness, acceptance, and love. There is more than enough room in the circle of my heart for the flowing forth of love going out in all directions to bless all persons everywhere. There is enough room in the circle of my heart for a larger vision of life, where there is room for all of us to grow. There is enough room in the circle of my heart for love, understanding, and protection to encircle the whole wide world. |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by “Show Up” by Richard Mekdeci, Glen Roethel, and Claudia Carawan: I want to show up as love, hold the door open for everyone, fill the room below to above. I want to show up as love.”I want to show up as peace, see no brother as the least, listen more than I speak. I want to show up as love. I want to show up as peace. I’m here to make the best of it – to give a lot and take only a bit. I want to show up as Truth. What you get is a hundred proof. In all I say and all I do, I want to show up as Truth. I want to show up as joy, like a child with a brand new toy. I’ll spread it, share it, fill the void. I want to show up as joy. Show up! |

Leddy Hammock From “The Whole in the Part” in Celebrate Yourself! by Eric Butterworth: “You live in the universe and you are a part within the whole. . . . the whole of things is also within you, and there can never be a separation.’” “Wherever Spirit is at all, the whole of Spirit must be. And because God or Spirit is omnipresent, the whole of Spirit (Holy Spirit) must be present in its entirety at every point in space and time. This is a fantastic concept! . . . . It means . . . that God in [us] is the Holy Spirit or the whole of Spirit. The whole of Divine Mind, the whole of divine love, the whole of infinite substance is in you and in focus as you at every moment in time, wherever you may be.” “There is always that part of you that transcends any experience of illness, lack, or inharmony.” “Human potential is divine potential.” “Your potential . . . is a reality even before you begin to work for it. It is the whole of you which you may be expressing only in part. . . . The health you want is now yours, because you are now a limitless expression of divine love. The wisdom you seek is within the depths of your mind now, for you are now an expression of Divine Mind . . . . Singing or saying, ‘Holy, Holy, Holy’ . . . is a commitment to see wholeness everywhere—in persons, relationships, the economy, world affairs—and in oneself.” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to Karen Taylor Good’s ”Work of Art” — “I know somewhere, not so deep inside of me, lives that perfect soul that I was meant to be.” My life is a labor of love as I work at learning self-worth and unconditional love of others. Fear and doubt fade away as my true self emerges. “Let me be the way I was created. Let me find a pure and simple heart. I’ll chip away all that is not the Truth about me and reveal God’s perfect work of art.” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “I Can Do what I Can Do” by Sue Riley, Gary Lynn Floyd, and Richard Mekdeci: Look around, what do I see? Good or bad, it's up to me. My world reflects what I believe, Here’s what I believe: I know there's good in everyone, I feel/know the best is yet to come. I want to love like crazy, shine like gold, be courageous, break the mold. I can’t do it all, but this much is true: I can do what I can do. I’ll choose compassion over fear, release my love into the atmosphere; like a single wave in an endless sea, any change begins with me. I can’t do it all, but this much is true, I can do what I can do. And when I feel I’m all alone, I’ll remember: one drop of water smooths a stone. |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Susan Clark to “Pray” — I pray about those who have stumbled, who seem to have lost their way. I pray that they are finding their path to a brighter day. There are no magic words for me to say. I don’t even have to open my mouth, for God hears me, anyway. I know that God forgives me, as I forgive those who won’t. I pray with those who love me and I also bless those who don’t. There is no magic place I need to go. Each day holds a blessing, and it’s only a thought away. I turn the key that unlocks the door to faith when I pray. |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Jana Stanfield to “Let Your Life Lead You”: I trust my inner guidance, for my heart knows its way. Leddy Hammock Lyrics to “In the Silence” by Jack Fowler — “In the silence, there is peace. In the silence, there is unspoken joy. In the silence, there’s release from a world full of chaos and noise. So I wait for these precious moments when I hear all that could never be said. And right here, in this holy silence, I find God, I find myself.” |

Leddy Hammock Lyrics to “Expect the Best” by richard Mekdeci: “I know that I’m loved, right where I stand, I know I’m enough, just as I am. All that I want, all I desire, is now waiting here for me. The universe conspires to insure my happiness, so, I expect the best. I know that I’m loved, right where I stand, I know I’m enough, just as I am. All that I want, all I desire, is now waiting here for me. The universe conspires to insure my happiness, so, I expect the best. I expect the best from every passing moment, every single day. I’m loving my life, living my dreams, losing my fears, I’m spreading my wings. Feeling alive, anticipating what the future holds for me and I can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen next, ‘cause I expect the best. |

Leddy Hammock “Jonah’s Story,” or “How to Turn Your Life Around” When my best thinking has gotten me into my worst situations, the only way I can change my life is by changing my thinking. To turn a negative experience around, I forgive, I listen with my heart, and I turn my thoughts in a positive direction. I wake up from self-limiting thought. I bless and give thanks, as I take a new direction toward the ceaseless flow of my own good. I stop resisting my inner guidance and I take a “right turn,” even if it means kicking and screaming down the path of transformation. |

Leddy Hammock Lyrics by Daniel Nahmod to "One Power" — "There's one Power, invisible, and you see it everywhere and every day – one Power, indescribable – and you speak of it with every word you say; mysterious, until you know the Truth, as simple as the love inside of you. Call it God, call it Spirit, call it Jesus, call it Lord, Call it Buddha, Bahá’u’lláh, Angel's Wings or Heaven's Door – But whatever name you give it, it’s all one Power, can’t you see? It’s the power of the love in you and me." |

Leddy Hammock Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Divine Mind, expressing as infinite Wisdom, Your name is Love. Amen, and so it is. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. As in spiritual consciousness, so also let it be in my world. Amen, and so it is. Give us this day our daily bread. We are receptive right here and now to unlimited good. Amen, and so it is. Forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors. We release all others from any thought of limitation and we, also, are free. Amen, and so it is. Leave us not in temptation, but deliver us from error. You would not lead us into temptation, for Your grace delivers us from mistakes and the results of mistakes. Amen, and so it is. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen. You are the Good Shepherd, and we dwell forever safely in Your Presence. Amen, and so it is. |

Leddy Hammock Lyrics from “I Am Free” by Sloan Wainwright: “I am free, right where I am — a piece of the puzzle, a part of the plan. I am free. I cleaned up my debt. I take time to accept all the beauty around me. I won’t walk like a slave today, chained by my regret. My past and my future fade. I forgive, I won’t forget. Still, I am free. By the Truth in each moment, by the love heaven sent, in my heart, I believe I am free. I won’t talk like a slave today, suffering to survive. My past and my future fade. I find myself alive. I am free. Right where I am – a piece of the puzzle, a part of the plan. I am free. I follow my breath, mindful with each step of this curious journey! I am free!” |

Judy Tafelski Inspired by lyrics by Lance Hoppen (of the band, “Orleans”), to “Start from where You Are.” “There’s no shame in crying, letting go of what’s been done – The debt, the loss, the past mistakes, in time you’ll overcome. Though the messages of childhood left their mark upon your mind. When you bring them to awareness, you can leave them all behind.” “You don’t have to do this on your own. And as you begin to weed your garden, and water your new seeds, The life you knew would grow into what you’re willing to believe.” “Start from where you are, one step at a time, It’s amazing how, right here, right now, the Universe survives. Start from where you are just a dream within your heart. This moment is your present, so start from where you are. This moment is your present, it’s ready to open when you are.” |

Magie Cook (A five minute video is played in the first couple of minutes. You can see it here: https://youtu.be/M9zxHTNyCm0) Blessed is the perfectly unconditional love of the infinite Father that accepts us all, always. Blessed is the patient love of the Father, Who loves us enough to let us go our own way and waits for us to come to ourselves. Blessed is the love of the All-Knowing Father, Who does not worry about us, but trusts in our spiritual nature. Blessed is the empowering love of the Father, Who knows that when the rain starts falling and the thunder rolls in and the water starts rising, we will weather the storm, and, no matter what, we are going to be all right. |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to ‘My Life Is a Prayer” by Stowe Daily and Karen Taylor-Good: True prayer is a series of determined affirmations. This prayer is “not a plea, a desperate call, with tears that fall on bended knee. But, breathing out and breathing in, it's God in me that lives and breathes, my trusted Friend. My life is a prayer that God is praying.” My true thoughts are words that God is saying. In prayer, “I know, without a doubt, no need to fear. God's right here, within and without. My life is a prayer that God is praying.” |

Leddy Hammock “A thousand stars across the sky unveil the universe, then vanish in the morning light that slips around the world. Yet, you and I know they're up there, the way you know somebody dares to love you all the ways you most deserve.” “That’s love for all we’re worth, and faith–the heart–comes first. And when we learn to let it in, it’s heaven here on earth, this love for all we’re worth.” “Where past and future start and end, this very moment shines–a fire in the winter cold we treasure more than any gold and know what’s ours to touch is still Divine. It’s love for all we’re worth. What starts and ends begins anew, it’s everything, it’s me and you . . . . It’s love for all we’re worth.” “That's love for all we’re worth, and faith–the heart–comes first. And when we learn to let it in, it’s heaven here on earth, this love for all we’re worth.” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “My Every Notion” by Sue Riley and Glen Roethel: What you say is what you get – a lifetime guarantee, sure bet – that what you say – with understanding faith — is what you get. As I speak (believing), my words have power. My life opens like a flower. Words and thoughts are seeds that grow. This is what I know. When I feel I’ve lost my way, I find perfect words to say. I look within, I make the choice, I take a breath, I lift my voice. Words I say come back to me. My every notion puts energy in motion. I choose my words carefully. With my thoughts I build my life, my (beautiful) new life! |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Richard Mekdeci to”Just a Little Faith” “Everywhere I look, I see endless possibilities, and I know all I need is just a little faith.” I center myself in the multiplying power of faith. I give thanks, even for the little I have, and I share it, for all I have to add is just a little faith. I don’t give doubt a chance, when the storms of life are blowing. Just a little faith will get me where I’m going. I ask and know that I’ll receive. I act as if I do believe. Just a little faith is all I’ll ever need. |

Sue Riley From the lyrics to “Wrap You Up” by StoweGood. “My mother was a quilter, a poet and a sage. She wrote her life in fabric instead of on a page. She wrapped my life in wonder, her love made me whole. Here’s the prayer with every stitch she wove into my soul. ‘Let your mother wrap you up in love. Know that you are always taken care of. All is perfect and complete when you laugh, love, and believe. Let your mother wrap you up in love.’” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Kit Holmes to “Choose what I Say”: “Words are the seeds that made you and me and gave us our nights and our days. So, I carefully, consciously, willingly, thoughtfully, lovingly choose what I say.” “Words are the engines that move us through life, holding us safe on the tracks, from station to station, each destination gives us strength to let go of the past.” “Words of advice: Be patient and nice. The world wasn’t made in a day. So carefully, consciously, willingly, thoughtfully, lovingly choose what you say.” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Megon McDonough in “I Am” (and based on Chapter 2 of Practical Metaphsics by Eric Butterworth: We are each, in potential, the I Am. That’s all we need to be. We are so much more than our body, more than our mind. What we are is the great I Am, before and after time. Here and now, we are each being healed, for the Great I Am lives in and through each of us, for that’s how it is revealed. We are discovering who we really are. We are so much more than our feelings, more than our fears. We have that voice within us with the answer, every day, and we hear it every time we get out of the way. Jesus is God’s Child and we are all God’s children. We are here to make a difference, to set and be set free. I Am and you are the I Am. |

Leddy Hammock God is all there is. In the beginning, God. Jesus said that “I and my Father are one.” We’re made in the image and likeness of the One. Since God is what we are, let God be what we show. Let’s see the God in every face, everywhere we go. Our mind is divine in the garden of our soul. We let in love, faith, and happiness, and witness what unfolds. God is all there is. In the beginning, God. |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Jana Stanfield: I give and serve in love, so I always have more than enough of all that I need to do all I can do and to be all I can be. Compared to where we were, we’ve come all this far. Let us spend the day enjoying where we are. We learn to give generously and to receive gratefully. We take a quick look back at dreams of yesterday – dreams of living the life that we live today. We no longer spend so much time wanting so much more when there’s plenty here for us all to be thankful for. As I go through this day, this is my creed: I have more than enough of all that I need. I fearlessly pay the full asking price and I always have more than enough of all that I need. |

Leddy Hammock Even in the dark night of the soul, it begins to dawn on me that the presence of the Christ is always right here with me. Leddy Hammock The 23rd Psalm (New International Version) is the basis for this powerful Resurrection message, inspired also by lyrics by Sue Riley. Jesus knew this prayer by heart and lived it perfectly. As we also learn this message by heart, we welcome a brand new day. No foolin’! |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics by Denise Rosier from “Hallelujah Today!” The road is long but I will make it. That's who I am. It’s not the race but how I’m running -- not who I was, but who I’m becoming. Steady on! I'll finish strong on this path. With every breath in me, I call out, “Hallelujah today!” With every mile I’m reminded, I never go empty-handed. God is my strength. I'm never stranded. I’m not alone. Together, we are calling out about the good and peace and joy resounding around the world. In every song I sing, in every part of me, in everything, Hallelujah today! |

Leddy Hammock Lyrics to “A Rising Tide” by Harold Payne: “Right here, right now, we are all connected somehow. Even a whisper in the dark becomes a prayer and it reaches out and touches your heart. A rising tide lifts us all; every drop of water helps to keep the flow. When you make a ripple in the river of life, we will all be lifted – lifted by the rising tide. We all have dreams of a world where we can live in peace and each act of kindness builds a bridge that leads us to the common ground beyond our differences . . . . I’m holding on to what I know that we can be in a sea of possibilities . . . . A rising tide lifts us all, every drop of water helps to keep the flow. When you make a ripple in the river of life, we will all be lifted – lifted by the riding tide.” |

JD Martin & Jan Garrett Inspired by lyrics to “One Heart” by Jan Garrett & JD Martin): There’s a new Church on the horizon, made of light, not of stone, calling now to all creation, “You are not alone.” We are One Heart, looking for answers. We are One Soul, finding our way through the dark. Hold out your hand. Someone will take it and bring you home again. One dream, we share together. We are all a part of One Heart. We are One Heart, One Soul, One Dream we share together. We are One Heart, looking for answers; One Soul, finding our way through the dark. One Dream, we share together. We are all a part of One Heart. |

Leddy Hammock I am not here by accident. I am here in this place by divine appointment. Since God is everywhere equally present, whenever I turn my attention to the presence of the Good, I dwell in the House of the Lord. Wherever I am–either alone or gathered with others in prayer– my heart is in a holy place. In Genesis, we read that Jacob fell asleep, alone in the wilderness; when he awoke, he declared: “Surely the LORD is in this place and I knew it not” (Genesis 28:16, King James Version). Wherever I am, wherever I journey, I can always pause and pray. I feel instantly safe and divinely guided as I affirm: “Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place!” |

Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “Why Wait?” by Daniel Nahmod: Why wait for that wake-up call? Why wait, until it’s too late? There is only today. Why wait? Why would we keep a dream a secret all our life? There is only today. Why wait? Why wait before that pouring rain, before that hurricane? There is only today. Why wait? Let the future fall away. Let regret evaporate. There is only today. Why wait? |

David Roth Inspired by lyrics by David Roth: “I’m learning how to find my way – so far, so good.” “I count my blessings every day – so far, so good.” “One more moment, one more minute, I take the good and get right in it – so far, so good.” “I’ve got a place to lay my head – so far, so good. Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics to “If You Want To Be Happy” (Words and music by Sloan Wainwright, Sue Riley, Jana Stanfield): “Don’t believe all that you think – if you want to be happy.” “If you want to be happy, be careful what you say. You can't make yourself feel better putting other people down. Remember words can hurt you when they come back around.” “Focus on the things you have, not what you haven't got – if you want to be happy.” |
